ASML Holding (ASML) Reports Q4 EPS of $0.69, Offers Q1 Guidance

ASML Holding Nv (NASDAQ: ASML) reported Q4 EPS of EUR $0.69, versus EUR $0.94 last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at EUR 1.21 billion versus EUR 1.52 billion last year.

For the first quarter 2012, ASML expects net sales of about EUR 1.2 billion. Sales are expected to have a gross margin in Q1 2012 of about 43 percent. R&D costs for Q1 are expected at EUR 145 million to support our strategic investments. SG&A costs are expected at EUR 54 million. Q1 2012 bookings expected at a level above Q4 2011 bookings. The Street's consensus calls for earnings of $0.64 per share on $1.44 billion in sales for Q1.

ASML expects first half 2012 net sales of about EUR 2.4 billion.
