Notable ETF Movers of the Day 11/27: (XRT) Higher; (RSX) (GDX) Lower

Gainers:
SPDR S&P Retail (NYSE: XRT) gained 0.9 percent to 63.1. Shares of SUPERVALU (NYSE: SVU) gained 5 percent. If the rally holds, it will make a 5-day 8 percent rally in the stock. Today's broader sector rally is linked to positive consumer confidence data in the U.S.
Decliners:
Market Vectors Russia ETF (NYSE: RSX) declined 1.5 percent to 27.4. Russian stocks, heavily weighted energy, declined as Brent Oil futures broke below $110 per barrel. So far this year, Russian stocks have struggled, with RSX lower by 0.8 percent.
Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDX) declined 1 percent to 48.25. Gold miners were weaker across the board, with shares of AngloGold Ashanti (NYSE: AU) opening lower and trading down 2.3 percent. In the past 52-weeks, GDX has underperformed broader markets, including the popular gold ETF SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD).
