Notable ETF Movers of the Day 06/07: (FXI) (SPY) Higher; (UNG) (XRT) Lower

iShares FTSE China 25 Index Fund (NYSE: FXI) up 2.02 percent to $34.16. China shares rising following The People's Bank of China issuing a 0.25 point rate cut. For more color, click here.
SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE: SPY) up 0.39 percent to $132.47. U.S. markets moving higher on lower first-time claims for jobless benefits as well as easing in China.

According to data from the U.S. Labor Department, first-time filers for unemployment insurance dipped 12,000 to 377,000 for the week ended June 2nd. The number is down from a revised-higher 389,000 readout realized the prior week. For more color, click here.

United States Natural Gas (NYSE: UNG) down 4.10 percent to $16.15. Nat gas supplies rose 62 billion cubic feet to 2.877 trillion cubic feet last week, above the 53 bcf to 57 bcf increase expected by analysts.

Inventories remain 31.4 percent above the five-year average and 32.9 percent over last years level.

Nat gas contracts are down $0.104 to $2.317 per mmBtu on the Comex.
SPDR S&P Retail (NYSE: XRT) down 1.56 percent to $57.57. The ETF being led by PriceSmart (Nasdaq: PSMT) which is 3.9 percent lower amid reporting a 13.2 percent increase to comps in May and 16.1 percent increase for the three months ended June 3, 2012.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) also lower after issuing a response to the DoJ settlement over e-Book antitrust issues, saying the department is "overreaching" in its litigation.
