Market Fears Continue; S&P 500 Looks to Extend Four-Session Losing Streak (SPY)

The S&P 500 is looking to keep up its rough start to 2015. The index is down 0.3 percent, or about 6 points, amid a rebound in crude and as the U.S. dollar shows some strength versus the euro today.
Since the start of 2015, the S&P 500 has closed positive just twice: up 1.2 percent on January 7th and 1.8 percent on January 8th.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 0.3 percent and the Nasdaq is off 0.5 percent.
