Wedbush Downgrades Nuance Communications (NUAN) to Neutral; Valuation Call

October 21, 2009 9:24 AM EDT

Wedbush downgrades Nuance Communications (NUAN) from Outperform to Neutral. Price target $17.

Wedbush analyst says, "While we continue to like Nuance’s long-term opportunities in speech, we believe current valuation fairly reflects these opportunities. We also see limited near-term catalysts and believe YoY organic growth comparisons will be difficult for FQ4...We are maintaining our $17 price target. Our target is based upon our DCF analysis, and represents a 14.5x multiple to our CY10 pro forma EPS estimate of $1.17. This represents a moderate premium to our estimated long-term EPS growth estimate of 12%."
