Standpoint Research downgraded Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) shares from Buy to Hold.

The firm believes "the stock has run its course versus the benchmark." Standpoint sees "no shortage of concerns here... cotton prices, the economy, margins, mixed results coming from this industry, better risk -reward with other names, competition, and most of all recent news regarding the significant slashing of square footage and stores in the U.S. that will not be offset by opening a few stores in China."
