Spirit AeroSystems (SPR) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) Announce the Signing of a New Supply Agreement

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (NYSE: SPR) and Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) announced the signing of a supply agreement whereby Spirit will supply thrust reverser, fuselage and wing components for Southwest's fleet of B737 aircraft. This multi-year contract will enable Southwest to obtain predictable and competitive pricing for all 737 parts in the Spirit catalog while ensuring availability for key parts and components.

"The supply agreement demonstrates our commitment to customer fleet support and the confidence our customers have in Spirit as the original producer for the majority of the 737 Next-Generation airframe."

Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (Holdings) commenced operations, through the acquisition of The Boeing Company’s (Boeing) operations in Wichita, Kansas, Tulsa, Oklahoma and McAlester, Oklahoma (the Boeing Acquisition).[SM]
