Silvercorp Metals (NYSE: SVM) shares are now down more than 1 percent following an earlier downgrade from an analyst at UBS. The analyst now rates the stock a Neutral, down from Buy previously.

The downgrade comes on the heels of a 9 percent move lower in Silvercorp shares over the last three trading sessions.

Shares last traded at $5.40, dangerously close to a 52-week low set at $4.89.
