SAIC Appoints San Giacomo and Cuff to Key Positions
MCLEAN, Va. and SAN DIEGO, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced that Glenn San Giacomo has been appointed as business unit general manager, and that Jim Cuff will head SAIC's Corporate Business Development organization.
San Giacomo will succeed Cuff and lead SAIC's Logistics and Engineering Solutions Business Unit (LESBU), effective immediately. LESBU provides professional tailored solutions in the core business areas of operational logistics integration, supply chain management, and logistics enterprise solutions, serving customers in the U.S. Department of Defense, Federal agencies, and commercial markets.
San Giacomo previously served as manager for the Supply Chain Integration Operation under LESBU. He joined SAIC in 2004 and will report to Joe Craver, president of SAIC's Infrastructure, Logistics and Product Solutions Group.

Cuff was previously the LESBU general manager and will now serve as senior vice president of SAIC's Corporate Business Development organization, effective immediately. He will work closely with the company's operating units to develop and execute strategies to accelerate the capture of new business. Cuff has more than 26 years of experience serving in leadership roles in the logistics and systems integration industry, and a strong track record in business development. He joined SAIC in 1991, and will report to SAIC's Chief Executive Officer, Walt Havenstein.
