CallWave, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALL) 36.3% HIGHER; announced that it is offering to purchase shares of its common stock in a tender offer for $1.15 per share. The offer price represents a premium of approximately 44% to the closing price of the Company's common shares of $0.80 on the NASDAQ as of the close of business on May 4, 2009. AtriCure, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATRC) 27.1% HIGHER; reports Q1 adj-loss of $0.08, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.19). Revenue for the quarter was $13.7 million, versus the consensus of $12.72 million. On May 1, 2009 the Company entered into a $10 million credit facility with Silicon Valley Bank.

Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA) 26.8% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.23, 13 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $62.4 million, compared to $48.48 million in the same quarter last year.

Harmonic (Nasdaq: HLIT) 24.6% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.04, ex-items, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $678 million, versus the consensus of $75.17 million. Sees Q2 revs of $72-$78 million, versus the consensus of $80.4 million.

ACADIA Pharma (Nasdaq: ACAD) 23.9% HIGHER; continuing to move higher today following news yesterday that it has established a collaboration with Biovail Laboratories International SRL to co-develop and commercialize pimavanserin.

MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM) 23.5% HIGHER; reports Q1 loss of $0.06, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter was $1.5 billion, versus the consensus of $1.58 billion.

Hologic (Nasdaq: HOLX) 22.7% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.29, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter was $402 million, versus the consensus of $405.10 million. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.25-$0.27, versus the Street estimate of $0.27 and revs of $390-$400 million, versus the consensus of $409 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $1.10-$1.15, versus the consensus of $1.12 and revs of $1.625-$165 billion, versus the Street estimate of $1.66 billion. PetroQuest Energy (NYSE: PQ) 19.6% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of ($1.36), versus the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter was $59.23 million, versus the consensus of $59.16 million.

Strategic Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BEE) 18.9% HIGHER; after jumping over the $1.00 level yesterday, shares are continuing higer today.

ATS Medical (Nasdaq: ATSI) 18.6% HIGHER; reports Q1 loss of $0.02, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.03). Revenue for the quarter was $18.4 million, versus the consensus of $17.56 million. For FY09 the Company reaffirmed its previous revenue guidance of $77 to $80 million representing a year-over-year growth rate of approximately 17 to 22%. (Consensus is $78.29M)

Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) 18.4% HIGHER; trading higher on the back of MGM and Wynn earnings.

ASM International (Nasdaq: ASMI) 17.7% HIGHER; Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) disclosed that it has purchased 4% of ASMI's total common share capital, based on approximately 54 million common shares outstanding.

Myriad Genetics (Nasdaq: MYGN) 17.2% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.23, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $87.5 million, versus the consensus of $90.49 million.

Alkermes (Nasdaq: ALKS) 17.1% HIGHER; filed for FDA approval for a once a week Byetta.

NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N) 16.5% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.02, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter was $41.6 million, versus the consensus of $42 million. Piper Jaffray also downgraded the stock to Sell.

LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: LF) 15.7% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.43, 2 cents below the analyst estimate of ($0.41). Revenue for the quarter was $29.9 million, versus the consensus of $29.22 million.

Ruths Chris Steak House (Nasdaq: RUTH) 15.6% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.16 per share, above the consensus of $0.06. Revenues fell 1.1% to $97.5 million, versus the consensus of $100.36 million. Ruths Chris also reaffirms its forecast.

Legg Mason Inc. (NYSE: LM) 15.5% LOWER; reports a Q4 loss of $2.29, versus the consensus of a $2.33 loss. Revenues came in at $617.2 million, versus the consensus of $611.14 million. Legg Mason also cut its dividend to $0.03 per share, versus its last quarter dividend of $0.24 per share.

Corporate Executive Board Company (Nasdaq: EXBD) 13.8% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.40, 15 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter was $117.4 million, versus the consensus of $112.84 million. Lowers its 2009 guidance to a range for revenues of $410- $450 million and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $0.90 to $1.40. (consensus is $452.43M and 1.27, respectively) The Company is decreasing its quarterly dividend from $0.44 per share to $0.10 per share

Wynn Resorts (Nasdaq: WYNN) 13.5% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of ($0.27), versus the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $740 million, versus the consensus of $742.63 million.

Sonic Automotive, Inc. (NYSE: SAH) 12.9% HIGHER; today announced that it has entered into agreements with the holders of over 85% of the Company's 5.25% Convertible Senior Subordinated Notes due May 2009 to refinance such notes with a combination of cash, common shares and newly issued debt.
