According to a Bloomberg press release, Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) has sued Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), alleging that the supplier's demand for higher prices to cover raw-materials costs broke a contract.
Johnson Control is trying to have the increase canceled and is seeking damage payments if Illinois Tool Works stops shipping parts.
