Jefferies downgraded Janus Capital (NYSE: JNS) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $9.50.

The firm comments, "While fundamentals have improved thus far in 2012, particularly around investment performance, performance fees will take time to recover as will a return to equity inflows. Janus remains highly levered to the equity markets; however, we believe the risk/reward is currently fairly balanced at approx. 12.5x our 2012 EPS estimate."
