June 6, 2007 7:33 AM EDT

Goldman Sachs downgrades Borders Group (NYSE: BGP) from Neutral to Sell.

Goldman analyst says M&A is less likely after FTC moves to block deal between Whole Foods (Nasdaq: WFMI) and Wild Oats Markets (Nasdaq: OATS).

(NOTE - rumors have been circulating that Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) and Borders could link up)
