First Global downgraded Research In Motion Ltd. (NASDAQ: RIMM) from Marketperform (with Underperform Bias) to Moderate Underperform.

First Global analyst said, "Management lowers Q1 FY12 guidance, as stiff competition & shift in product mix expected to impact performance...Pressure on margins, intense competition, uncertainty over component supplies & weak response to newly launched tablet paint uninspiring outlook."
