September 1, 2009 7:01 AM EDT

Credit Suisse upgraded Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT) and Research In Motion Ltd. (Nasdaq: RIMM) from Neutral to Outperform, citing a recovery at Motorola's mobile-phone division and growing demand for RIM's BlackBerry.

The firm raised their price target on MOT from $7 to $9.50 and from $76 to $95 on RIMM.

Credit Suisse downgraded Nokia (NYSE: NOK) from Outperform to Undeperform, saying the company will likely lose market share in the important smart-phone market next year. The firm also downgraded QUALCOMM (Nasdaq: QCOM) and Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) from Outperform to Neutral.
