In addition to the weakness in the broader markets, shares of Viacom (NYSE: VIA) (NYSE: VIA.B) are also falling today on the back of a Caris & Co. downgrade from Average to Below Average.
The analyst cited the stocks recent run-up (up 22% since the beginning of '09) and said he was also concerned that Viacom's slate of films following the new Transformers, "is starting to receive negative chatter".
