Analysts are continuing to downgrade shares of the now-battered Arena Pharma (Nasdaq: ARNA) this week. The company's stock tumbled by an astounding 98% last week amid concerning FDA briefing documents and the resulting decision by an FDA panel not to recommend approval of Arena's weight-loss product lorcaserin.

Today, analysts at both WBB Securities and CRT Capital have lowered their investment ratings on shares of Arena Pharma. WBB now rates the stock a Hold, down from Strong Buy while CRT now rates the stock a Fair Value, down form Buy previously. WBB lowered its price target on ARNA shares from $7 to $2.

Shares of Arena Pharma are set to open this morning's session down about 1% to $1.97.
