Shares of Acme Packet (NASDAQ: APKT) are trading down nearly 2 percent in Monday's pre-open session as an analyst at Cowen and Company downgraded the stock from Outperform to Neutral earlier.

The lowered investment recommendation follows a Q2 warning on Friday of last week and the resulting 14.5 percent decline.

Acme Packet shares last traded at $15.45 after closing at $15.74 on Friday.
