Under the terms of the Merger Agreement, JLL will commence a tender offer to purchase all of the outstanding shares of PharmaNet at a price of $5.00 per share in cash, representing a significant premium to PharmaNet's average closing price for the past . Harley-Davidson Inc. (NYSE: HOG) 19.5% HIGHER; today priced an offering of $600 million of its senior unsecured notes as part of the Company's plan to fund the ongoing motorcycle lending activities of its wholly owned finance company, Harley-Davidson Financial Services.
Trident Microsystems (Nasdaq: TRID) 18.1% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.11, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter was $19.2 million, versus the consensus of $21.40 million. Sees Q3 revs of $5-$6 million, versus the consensus of $18 million. Sees Q3 operating loss of $15 million. Bassett Furniture Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: BSET) 15.8% LOWER; announced today that its Board of Directors did not declare a quarterly dividend for the second quarter of fiscal 2009, preserving approximately $1.1 million of cash in the quarter based on the quarterly dividend amount paid in December of 2008.
