U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.195 per share, or $0.78 annualized. This is a 56% increase from the prior dividend of $0.125.
The dividend will be payable on April 16, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 30, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 28, 2012.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.5 percent.
