Stepan Co. (NYSE: SCL) reports Q3 EPS of $1.80, or $2.04 excluding deferred compensation, versus the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter was $326.23 million, which compares to the estimate of $327.54 million.
Stepan also announced an increase in their dividend 9.1% to $0.24, or $0.96 annualized.
This dividend is payable December 15, 2009, to shareholders of record on November 30, 2009. The ex-dividend date is November 26, 2009.
The dividend yield is 1.5%.
