Puget Energy (NYSE: PSD) declared a $0.25 quarterly dividends on its common stock. The dividend is payable Feb. 15, 2009, to shareholders of record as of the close of business Jan. 21, 2009.
The ex-dividend date is Jan. 16, 2009. You must own the stock at least one day before the ex-dividend in order to capture the dividend.

Lawrence on Jan 6, 2009 04:21 PMI wonder if the dividend will be paid if PSD is sold before the 16th of Jan. What will happen to it if PSD is sold between Jan 16 and Feb15?
