Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Raises Quarterly Dividend 6.7% to $0.80; 2.8% Yield

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.80 per share, or $3.2 annualized. This is a 6.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.75.

The dividend will be payable on June 7, 2016, to stockholders of record on May 20, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of May 18, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.8 percent.

"In recognition of our 2015 results, strong financial position and confidence in the future of Johnson & Johnson, the Board has voted to increase the quarterly dividend for the 54th consecutive year," said Alex Gorsky, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
