Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.47 per share, or $1.88 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on February 22, 2013, to stockholders of record on January 31, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of January 29, 2013.

The annual yield on the dividend is 7.8 percent.
