H&R Block (HRB) Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend By 5.3%
The Board of Directors of H&R Block, Inc. (NYSE: HRB) today declared a 5.3% higher quarterly cash dividend of 15 cents per share, payable Oct. 1, 2008, to shareholders of record Sept. 10, 2008.
The increase from the previous quarterly rate of 14.25 cents per share brings the indicated annual rate up by 3 cents per share to 60 cents per share. The Oct. 1 payment marks the 11th consecutive year of increase and will be the Company's 184th consecutive quarterly dividend.
H&R Block, Inc. is the world's preeminent tax services provider, having served more than 400 million clients since 1955 and generating annual revenues of $4.4 billion in fiscal year 2008.
