Gladstone Capital (GLAD) Cuts Monthly Dividend in Half
Gladstone Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: GLAD) declared a $0.07 per share cash distribution for the month of April 2009.
(GLAD has issued a $0.14 per share monthly dividend since July of 2006)
Chip Stelljes, President and Chief Investment Officer, commented: “We have our line of credit maturing on May 21, 2009 and expect to have a new line of credit in place on or before that date. Once the line is in place the board will meet to declare the dividend for May and June and we will make an additional announcement at that time. Our prospective lenders have expressed a desire to have us pay cash dividends commensurate with our net investment income. We will be working hard to increase the dividend as we go forward.”
