General Mills (GIS) Board Approves A 10% Dividend Increase
The General Mills (NYSE: GIS) Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend increase to 43 cents per share, payable August 1, 2008, to shareholders of record July 10, 2008. The new annualized rate of $1.72 per share represents a 10% increase over dividends of $1.57 per share paid in fiscal 2008. General Mills and its predecessor companies have paid uninterrupted dividends without reduction for 109 years.
