Express (EXPR) Posts Q3 EPS of $0.30c; Comps Up 2%; Declares $0.56 Special Dividend; 3.6% Yield; Increases FY10 EPS Outlook, Guides Q410

Express, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXPR) reports Q3 EPS of $0.30, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $450.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $447.52 million.

Comps up 2%.

The Company announced today that its Board of Directors declared a special dividend of $0.56 per share.

The dividend is payable December 23, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 16, 2010. The ex-dividend date is December 14, 2010.

Yield on the dividend is 3.6%.

Sees Q410 comps up low to mid single digits. EPS is expected to be $0.45 - $0.51. Consensus sees an EPS of $0.45.

FY10 comps expected to increase mid-single digits, with an EPS outlook increased from $1.27 - $1.33 to $1.31 - $1.37. Consensus sees an EPS of $1.32.
