Eastman Chemical Co. (EMN) Raises Quarterly Dividend 15.4% to $0.30; 2% Yield

Eastman Chemical Co. (NYSE: EMN) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share, or $1.2 annualized. This is a 15.4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.26.

The dividend will be payable on December 31, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 17, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of December 13, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2 percent.

"This third cash dividend increase in two years demonstrates the Board's confidence in our ability to generate continued strong cash flows and earnings growth," said Jim Rogers, chairman and CEO. "We remain committed to maintaining a strong financial position as we execute our strategy to deliver consistent, superior value."
