Darden Restaurants (NYSE: DRI) reports Q4 EPS of $0.78, ex-items, 3 cents betterer than the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenues for the quarter were $1.83 billion, versus the consensus of $1.82 billion.
Raises its quarterly dividend 11% from $0.18 to $0.20, payable on August 1 to shareholders of record on July 10.
Sees FY09 EPS up 14-15%.
