Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings (NYSE: CCO) declared a special dividend of $6.08 per share.

The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 12, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 13, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 46 percent.

The dividend is payable subject to the closing of a $275 million aggregate principal amount of 7.625% Series A Senior Subordinated Notes due 2020 and $1,925 million aggregate principal amount of 7.625% Series B Senior offering.
