Ameron International Corp. (NYSE: AMN) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share, or $1.2 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on November 15, 2011, to stockholders of record on October 3, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of September 29, 2011.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.4 percent.
Under the terms of the previously announced agreement and plan of merger, dated as of July 1, 2011, by and among Ameron, National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (NYSE: NOV) and NOV Sub A, Inc., if the closing of the merger occurs following October 3, 2011 and prior to payment of the quarterly dividend, the unpaid dividend will be payable as of the closing date of the merger, to Ameron stockholders as of the record date of the dividend. Ameron expects the merger to close on October 5, 2011, after approval by Ameron's stockholders.
