American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend payment of $0.21 per share, or $0.84 annualized.
The dividend is payable on December 1, 2009 to all shareholders of record as of November 18, 2009. The ex-dividend date is November 16, 2009.
Yield on the dividend is 4.3%.
American Water Works Company, Inc. provides water and wastewater services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the United States and Canada.
