American Capital Agency (AGNC) Approves $1.50 Per Share Quarterly Dividend
American Capital Agency Corp. (Nasdaq: AGNC) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $1.50 per share for the second quarter 2009. The dividend is payable on July 27, 2009 to common shareholders of record as of July 2, 2009, with an ex-dividend date of June 30, 2009.
AGNC is a REIT formed in 2008 to invest exclusively in agency pass-through securities and collateralized mortgage obligations for which the principal and interest payments are guaranteed by a U.S. Government agency or a U.S. Government-sponsored entity.[SM]
