Albemarle Corp. (NYSE: ALB) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share, or $0.8 annualized. This is a 14.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.175.

The dividend will be payable on April 1, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 15, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 13, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.2 percent.
