MetLife (MET) Raises Quarterly Dividend 6.7% to $0.40; 3.4% Yield

MetLife (NYSE: MET) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share, or $1.6 annualized. This is a 6.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.375.

The dividend will be payable on June 13, 2016, to stockholders of record on May 9, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of May 5, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3.4 percent.

Kandarian, chairman, president and CEO of MetLife, Inc. “Increasing our dividend is an important part of this commitment.”
