United Tech's (UTX) Pratt & Whitney Receives $300M Engine Order from Korea

Pratt & Whitney, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), has received a $300 million Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract from the Republic of Korea government in support of the F100 engines powering the Republic of Korea Air Force fleet of Lockheed Martin F-16 fighters and Boeing F-15K fighters.
This five-year parts and repair services program covers over 230 engines. Under the terms of the PBL, Pratt & Whitney will provide key support for the F100 engines in the intermediate engine shops and at the depot level.
