TASER International, Inc. (Nasdaq: TASR) announced that it received an order for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point to issue TASER(r) X26(tm) ECDs and related accessories to its base security and law enforcement.
"It is an honor to have our TASER X26 selected for deployment at West Point as an alternative response to resistance option," said George Fenton, Vice President of Government and Military Sales for TASER International. "The United States Military Academy joins ranks with more than 14,000 federal, state, local and military agencies already using the proven TASER technology to protect officers and soldiers as they serve and protect their communities. This order is expected to ship in third quarter of 2009."
