Tufco Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TFCO) announced that it recently received its Labelers ID for FDA registration. This voluntary FDA registration allows its Green Bay facility to produce FDA regulated products. The company is also registered with the EPA. Tufco is an ISO 9001:2000 facility, with ISO 9001:2008 certification pending in August 2009, and has a strong focus on Lean/Six Sigma.
Commenting on this latest achievement, Michele Cherney, Tufco's Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said, "The FDA and EPA registrations enable Tufco to expand into additional markets and support new business. Our goal is to be the premier outsource manufacturing partner for our current clients and potential new clients."
