lululemon athletica (Nasdaq: LULU) shares are on watch amid news of more competition in its key maket: yoga apparel.
Reebok announced the launch of a new yoga collection this afternoon. According to the release: Alongside partnering with world-renowned yoga expert Tara Stiles, the brand is launching a new apparel collection, bringing flair to women’s yoga for Spring Summer 2013....The Reebok Yoga collection reinforces the sportswear brand’s dedication to women’s fitness by focusing on the many physical and social benefits of yoga. To further underline this commitment, Tara’s role with Reebok Yoga will evolve in the future to extend beyond the product design process.
Shares of lululemon are up 0.9 percent Friday afternoon.
