Tandy Leather Factory (TLF) Opened Two New Retail Stores In Spain This Week
Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (Nasdaq: TLF) today announced that two new stores opened this week in Spain – one in Jerez and one in Ubrique. The stores will operate under the name Tandy Leather Factory serving wholesale customers as well as the general public.
Jon Thompson, CEO and President, commented, "We are very pleased to get these two stores open as they bring the number of countries in which we have stores to five. We believe the Spanish market will be good for us and having a local presence there will further strengthen our market position and increase our European customer base. We expect there will be some shift of sales to our Spanish customers from our UK store to our Spain stores. However, we also expect that all three of our European stores will continue to grow their respective customer bases and that our European sales overall will increase over time."
