Syniverse (SVR) to Buy Roaming Services Provider WSI
Syniverse Technologies (NYSE: SVR) announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Wireless Solutions International (WSI), a Boca Raton, Fla.-based provider of global managed roaming and wireless network solutions.
The acquisition of this GSM Association (GSMA)-certified roaming hub provider will further enhance Syniverse's global roaming reach, while boosting the interworking capabilities of its recently launched standards-based, comprehensive roaming portfolio, Syniverse MORE. Syniverse expects the transaction to close by the end of May.
