Sprint (NYSE: S) ripping higher on the following news bit, reported in an SEC filing late Wednesday.
"On August 2, 2012, it was determined that Keith Cowan, President, Strategic Planning and Initiatives of Sprint Nextel Corporation, would be leaving the Company effective September 30, 2012."
Shares are up 7 percent early on the session Thursday.
