Sikorsky, of United Technologies (UTX), Awards Triumph Group (TGI) Several CH-53K Development Contracts
Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE: TGI) today announced that its Seattle-based engineering group has been awarded a series of contracts by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to develop systems and critical components for the CH-53K helicopter that Sikorsky is developing for the U.S. Marine Corps. The scope of the agreements includes the development of the Blade Fold System, the Blade Damper and the Rotor Brake Module. The development contract is expected to be completed in 2012 and will initially involve several Triumph Group companies.
No financial data about the contracts has been released yet.

Triumph Group, Inc., headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania, designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls aircraft components and accessories.
