Science Applications International (SAI) Awarded $25M Task Order by U.S. GSA

Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to provide a broad range of information technology (IT) services to the U.S. Navy Region Southeast (NRSE). The task order has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options and a contract value of $25 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily at Navy installations in the southeastern United States, and parts of the Caribbean. The task order was awarded under the GSA Millennia Lite Government Wide Acquisition Contract.

NRSE is one of 13 Navy regions that provide shore installation management support under the Commander, Navy Installations Command. Their mission is to enhance combat readiness through effective management of shore installations, while preserving the resources necessary to secure future forces. Under the task order, SAIC will provide a wide range of IT services including intranet and information assurance support, application portfolio management, and cyber asset reduction. SAIC will also support the Navy's Emergency Response Management System and E911 Call Dispatch Center.
