Salem Communications (SALM) to Sell WRVI, 105.9FM, to the WAY-FM Media Group for $3M
Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: SALM) today announced it has entered into an agreement to sell WRVI (105.9FM) to the WAY-FM Media Group, Inc. for $3 million.
Pending regulatory approvals, the company expects today's announced transaction will close in Q408. Salem will continue to own and operate three other stations in the Louisville market, including WGTK (970AM), WFIA (900AM), and WFIA (94.7FM).
Salem Communications Corporation, through its subsidiaries, operates as a commercial radio broadcasting company in the United States.
