S&P Announces Changes to US Indices: NWSA for WYE, FSLR for WYE

S&P 500 constituent News Corp. (NASDAQ: NWSA) will replace Wyeth Corp. (NYSE: WYE) in the S&P 100, and First Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) will replace Wyeth in the S&P 500 on a date to be announced. Wyeth is being acquired by S&P 100 & 500 constituent Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) in a deal expected to close soon pending final approvals.
