S&P Announces Changes to Indices: BEZ for VRX in MidCap 400, UHT for BEZ in SmallCap 600
S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Baldor Electric Co. (NYSE: BEZ) will replace Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE: VRX) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, and Universal Health Realty Trust (NYSE: UHT) will replace Baldor Electric Co. in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Monday, September 27. Valeant Pharmaceuticals is being acquired by S&P Global 1200 constituent Biovail Co. (NYSE: BVF) in a deal expected to close soon, pending final approvals
