Omnicell (Nasdaq: OMCL) announced that South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center has implemented Omnicell 14.0 with Anywhere RN, a software solution used in conjunction with Omnicell's automated medication dispensing cabinets to ensure safe, efficient and accessible medication management throughout the hospital. South Jersey Healthcare was one of the first hospitals to implement Omnicell 14.0, which is now available to all Omnicell customers.
Anywhere RN is the industry's first software solution to enable nurses to review medication orders at virtually any hospital computer or workstation and select profiled medications to issue from an Omnicell automated dispensing cabinet. Nurses may also use Anywhere RN to record medication waste and queue return transactions. At South Jersey Healthcare, Anywhere RN has positively impacted nursing efficiency; since implementation, time spent at the automated medication dispensing cabinet during the medication issue process has fallen by 33%.
