NuVasive (NUVA) to Pay $60M in NeuroVision Brand Name Litigation

NuVasive, Inc. (Nasdaq: NUVA) announced that they have received an unfavorable result in litigation tied to the NeuroVision® brand name.

As a result, the company will pay $600 million in damages, though the amount is subject to change.

Nuvasive plans to appeal the decision.

Any payment of damages will be delayed with the posting of a supersedeas bond, in an amount yet to be determined, while the appeals process runs its course which could take up to 2 years.
